Intro

ToorCon, now in its 12th year running, is San Diego's hacker conference bringing together the top security experts to present their new tricks of the trade and have fun in the sunny and beautiful city of San Diego. This year ToorCon Conference will be taking place again at the San Diego Convention Center on October 22th-24th, 2010. We will also be holding our Workshops and Deep Knowledge Seminars at the Hotel Solamar October 20th-22th, 2010.

We're very proud to announce our preliminary conference lineup and our preliminary seminar lineup. We are also, due to popular demand, offering the Application Security Workshop and Software Defined Radio Workshop again this year. Sign up now before seats run out!

A few more talks will be posted in the coming days. If you haven't submitted a talk yet, make sure you do before our final deadline on September 17th!

Datagram is running a Tamper Evident Contest at ToorCon this year. We've just posted the details so put together a team and sign up today! He'll also be running the Lockpicking Village again so bring your lockpicks and any strange locks you might have kicking around. More details on scheduling will be posted with the preliminary lineup in the next couple days.

We've just closed the CFP and published our final conference lineup! We've also posted more information about our Seminars and Workshops for those interested in attending.

Our Application Security workshop is perfect for those who want a well rounded course on auditing and pen-testing software applications and is the same course which was offered at Blackhat but at a fraction of the cost. We're also offering the Software Defined Radio workshop that will teach you how to get started with the GNURadio USRP and will cover some of the more advanced uses of the USRP for breaking complex RF protocols like Bluetooth and GSM.
