Intro ToorCon, now in its 10th year running, is San Diego's hacker conference bringing together the top security experts to present their new tricks of the trade and have fun in the sunny and beautiful city of San Diego. This year ToorCon Conference will be taking place again at the San Diego Convention Center on September 26th-28th, 2008. We will also be holding our Workshops and Deep Knowledge Seminars at the Hotel Solamar on September 24th-26th, 2008.

ToorCon 10 was a success! Now that all of us organizers are awake, we hope everyone had a good time and enjoyed this year's San Diego Event. We would like to thank all the people and organizations that have helped and supported us these past 10 years. We'll see everyone at our new event ToorCamp and next years ToorCon, "...it goes to eleven". |

This year's Saturday Night party will be held at Sin Nite Club in Downtown San Diego on the 27th. Doors open at 8PM and last call is usually at 1:45AM. There is a dress code so please wear nice jeans or slacks with a nice shirt and shoes for the gents. Tshirts probably won't fly guys. Ladies, all 3 of you probably know what to wear we hope, we really have no clue to help you anyway. We know this may be an inconvience for people, suck it up, have some fun and meet the opposite sex. To help with this socialization project, Microsoft was very nice to help sponsor the event. During registration, you will get a card that will let you into the club for free. The card will also provide you with an initial drink ticket that can be redeemed at the bar for a free well drink or domestic beer. Sponsor reps will also have tickets at their VIP booths, so please go and make some new friends. Entertainment will be provide by Keith Myers, Dual Core and DJ Scooter. If you and a couple of your friends like to drink and believe in collective bargining, we suggest getting a V.I.P. table. Tables start at $275 and come with a bottle of booze, 750ml or about 25 shots, and mixers. The club is offering a free bottle of champane for the first 5 bookings. If you are interested in a table please email nfiltr8 . "But last year I didn't get a drink!" Come early to make sure you get your drinks and figure how to social yourself some more free drinks like the other guys who drank your booze last year. |
